Of interest to maybe my my family, there are photos from my Bar Mitvah Album, which were taken at the Sunday evening function that followed my actual synagogue ceremony at Kinloss Gardens (Orthodox) Synagogue at the Saturday morning Shabbat Service. So just imagine a shy thin boy reciting his Torah portion in a large building with a largish congregation of men downstairs and females looking on from the “Ladies Gallery” upstairs.
The orginal Cecil J. Eprile, at Kinloss Gardens, N3 building was built in 1935.
It was replaced by a larger building in 1967 which houses 1600 people.
